Synthetic control of yeast culture growth rates (ongoing)

I am finishing a project started as a postdoc in the Klavins Lab at UW with Orlando de Lange and Alberto Carignano that we are about to publish.

We engineered yeast to induce growth arrest using a number of genes/inducers that we then characterized. We then used it in a cool application.

I work both in the wet lab (at the beginning of the project) and in the dry lab to design experiments, analyze data, model and simulate our systems. We used nonlinear differential equations.

We used a plate reader and a flow cytometer to collect our data.

All the code and data will be release with the publication in github and ebioome. Specifically, I used python (pandas, seaborn, lmfit, scikit-learn).
